C&G 2392-10 Inspection & Testing Course
This practical & theory course is intended for inexperienced electricians and domestic installers. This can be a difficult subject and this electrical course seeks to demystify it and provide you with a certification in inspection & testing.
This ‘Initial’ inspection and testing 2392 course have been designed and developed by the electrical industry with City & Guilds. This particular course has been created for new entrants and less experienced electricians wishing to up-skill and those unfamiliar with inspection and testing.
It’s a ‘must have’ if you intend to work on single-phase installations which will need to be inspected, tested, and certified in accordance with the latest Part P Building Regulations. Find out more below.

Candidates are expected to have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles and experience in electrical installation either within the electrical industry or an allied trade.
N.B. This qualification is not approved for use by candidates under the age of 18. City and Guilds will not accept any registrations for candidates under this age.
Testing and Inspection is an often difficult subject for even the most experienced of electricians
The City and Guilds 2392 Inspection and testing qualification, not only demystifies testing, but it also provides you with a qualification and certificate to show you are competent to undertake the work.
It’s a very essential skill and qualification to have for anyone undertaking electrical installations.
This 2392 course covers both practical hands-on skills as well as theory teaching. It is taught in a dual-purpose classroom which allows you to put into practice your electrical skills as and when you learn them. The course covers:

You will take an online multiple-choice exam as well as a practical assessment on the last day of the course.
Please note that you must bring a photographic ID such as a passport or driving license with you in order to sit the assessments on this course.
You will need to undertake a practical assessment at the end of this course to prove your competency.
**N.B** This course is designed for existing electricians and domestic installers with some knowledge of electrical installation.
As well as the practical assessment, candidates will be required to sit an online multiple-choice exam.

Pay As You Train is only available on our longer courses covering a number of weeks. Typically we will agree a payment plan with you where by you will pay your deposit and then pay a set amount 21 Days before each class start date.

Phoenix House has raised the bar for electrical training centres in the UK. It’s situated east of Leeds, just off of the M1 / A1. This makes it easily accessible from Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, York, Harrogate and all over Yorkshire.
Our centre in Central London is based right next to the old bailey, Smithfield Market and St Barts Hospital. We currently only offer electrical courses for experienced electricians from Central London.
